1IDProtect service is a personal identity theft protection service available to personal checking account owners, their joint account owners and their eligible family members. The service is available to non-publicly traded businesses and their business owner(s) listed on the account and their eligible family members (service not available to employees or authorized signers who are not owners). Service is not available to a “signer” on the account who is not an account owner. Service is not available to clubs, organizations and/or churches and their members, schools and their employees/students. For revocable grantor trusts, the service is available only when a grantor is serving as a trustee and covers the grantor trustee(s) and their eligible family members. For all other fiduciary accounts, the service covers the beneficiary, who must be the primary member, and their eligible family members (Fiduciary is not covered). Family includes: Spouse, persons qualifying as domestic partner, and children under 25 years of age and parent(s) of the account holder who are residents of the same household.

Both Prime Preferred and Prime Checking receive Overdraft Protection provided thru available share savings balance.

  • OVERDRAFT ADVANCE provides you a cushion of overdraft protection! Overdraft items will be posted in accordance with Chiphone’s existing share draft procedures. Funds will automatically transfer from the share account to the draft to clear overdrawn checks. If funds are not available in shares then Overdraft Advance will take over. This cushion allows your draft account to overdraw. For additional information you may pick up an Overdraft Advance disclosure at our member services desk.

Youth under 18 may be eligible for a draft account with debit card providing parents are joint on the account and take responsibility for their child’s use of this service.

Note: If you receive a direct deposit social security or other federal benefit check, you must opt-out if you do not want us to apply those funds to repay an overdraft. Contact a member services representative for details.

  • DRAFT IMAGING allows you to view the drafts that have cleared your account. If you have a Chiphone draft account and are set up for It’sMe247 then you can now view the front and back of drafts that have cleared your account. Simply go into your account via Chiphone’s on line banking. Once you are in your account summary, click on the DRAFT button to the right. This will show you drafts that have cleared. Click on the draft number you desire to view and you will see the item.
